all on the same day (28th jan 2008 i think) i finally got access to the bb (after month of trying) found out that Ali had left and UB40 were to play in brentwood
first thought was m shyte...that lasted about 15 minutes then i immediately book 4 tickets for brentwood
a few days later Mickey left
again.. i thought shyte
anyway i wasnt lucky enough to go to the rehersals and never got to Cafe de paris but the response from the loonies here convinced me that thing were looking good
Brentwood..i was thinking ..ok 2 new members will have to reproduce what has been done by Ali & Mickey...
the result.. we had a fantastic night..one little slip on Kingston Town
i walk out of that gig thinking - the proof will be when they are sing songs that they have input with...anyway i booked Excell straight away
excell...the first gig the loonies got to met me (ok i got to met some of them
) me and me dad again had a brilliant night
O2 december..the wife still goes on about how much fun you all seemed to have (specially singing boom shaka lacka)
i was even dancing with my mum, that only happens when she has rod stewart on
now Labour of Love 4....a series of albums with a tough act to follow
this is a fantastic album
the sound and vocals are brilliant
