That's why a lot of orchestra's rely on arts funding to survive. I would think most of them work at a loss. The proms that we have performed in actually makes a lot of money. But that didn't stop them from changing from local musicians to ones shipped in from eastern europe because they were cheaper.
Would still love to do it though, get a real buzz from being on stage with a 150-piece orchestra. and a 50-piece choir.

sound was incredible
only was the ticket price
i felt if the price was lowered a few quid he would have sold out, but as that it was expensive,wembly arena was only half sold...that must be a big balance also £60 i think was the price
