Really hard question.
I would have to go for Robert Nesta Marley purley because of the amount of quality music he put out from 1962 until 1981 when he died.
Loved his ska, rock steady, roots & he even penned a few neat poppy tunes that the masses could doo daa dee along to...
His greatest work for me was with Bunny & Peter with Lee Perry at the controls.
