my 3 yr old just asked me to put boom shaka lacka on for her! lol! she's never made a request before, that i can remember any way! (only her own music) and was singing away till i put it on. then when it finished, she asked me to play it again! how cute! i managed to get some of it on my camera, hope i can work out how to put it up.

This is always good for a laugh

Only slightly UB related but happened to catch Dennis Bovell at Band on the wall in Manchester the other night (and very good he was too) backed by none other than UB's former trombone player Buttons Tenyue who post gig did some Djing too (where do his talents end?). I still hold out hope of seeing the guys play at this venue some time, BT/JB next time you see Buttons ask him how cool this place is

Sampled this from a video I got a copy of from DJ. Cheers! Love the 1979 footage which is also used on the Southbank Show video/dvd. Oh, and Duncan singing with Ali & Robin at the end. Knew the acapella footage was on YouTube already but I think the interview was not there in full.

If anyone has contact with him please ask him to reply to this. Can't find a post from him since 2005 although i'm sure he must have - definitely not for a long time though. He used to run the Quids For Kids Fundraising activities (24 hour chat and auction) along with Tina and Ness. He doesn't need to come back permanently if he doesn't want to - just need him to reply to this once.
