If Dudley Moore hadn't made his name and fame as an actor, then he definitely would have done as a musician. I think the roles he played overshadow his brilliance as a piano player/composer. This is what I call real talent, not like when a soap star or 'celeb' has a fling as a singer to cash in - it's the real deal.

Same as M. said, watched a lot of clips of him over the years.

There was a CH4 programme back in the 90s called Orchestra where I first saw him play, not long after I'd seen the film 'Bedazzled'. I was impressed because he was playing jazz and classical stuff really well. Also he and the co presenter George Solti put the music across in a way that anyone could relate to.
