Default You Can't Beat Bristols
.......number of musicians in terms of head of population according to a ew survey by the Performing Rights Society.Bristol came out on top with Cardiff runner up.Scotland has 3 cities in the top 10 (Glasgow,Edinburgh and Paisley)London limped in at number 26 while Birmingham is not even mentioned (Daily Mirror) Any comments,especially jb and bt.

surprised london didnt do better but even more surprised birmingham didnt feature at all ,ive always understood that there is a lot of talent in brum , not just ubs ?

Yeah,that surprised me too.Liverpool was only 18th as well behind Leicester,Brighton and Swindon.The survey doesn't comment on the chart successes of the cities just the number of active musicians that come from them.If the survey was based on historical chart success I would have thought that Birmingham,Liverpool and Manchester could well have been the top 3 cities.

Ye cannae move for bands in Glasgow, although Paisley I was surprised at.
