It was a moronic decision to invade, it was about oil. Even though Saddam Hussain and his cronies were beasts, the whole premise was an absolute lie from the off. Those boys should never have been sent out there.

I really wonder what can be done to stop this kind of thing. I mean, everyone, with the exception of a few of my republican coworkers, really thought the war was started unjustly. But I ask you all: How can this kind of thing be stopped. Voting does no good, cuz once they get in there, they have their own agenda's and can reverse everything they said while getting elected......

You will never stop this happening unless the masses are consulted in some sort of referendum before going ahead....which of course wouldn't happen, politicians prefer to 'judge' public opinion at best.
Reasons for war are easy to find, if there is an aggressor, a patsy and a fervent media to whip up the public, everything elase gets lost in translation.........by the time the truth is reported to the masses there is a whole new set of rulemakers.
