This weekend was a very sad and scary one for me
I hardly write about scary or sad moments in my life, but this one i really have to share, i'm still in a little shock at the moment.
I had a nice dat out last saturday with my wife, we came home about 11pm, she had a shower, and after her shower she had a lay down on the couch.
I was watching a documentary of queen on the telly, around 12.20AM, i looked towards my wife, and she was shaking all over, rolling her eyes, ****ing hell, never seen it before in my life, i was really scared, shaking hands, couldn't think straight anymore, but i managed to rang my sister in law, she called 911, and @ 1.30 we were in the emergengy room of the hospital. My wife didn't respond on questions, couldn't talk proper words anymore, first we thought it was a stroke (braindamage thing).I stayed all night with her, happily at round 3AM she started to talk again, doctor was checking response in her arms, legs etc. it was all ok.
she had head scans make, and heart scans etc. @ 3.30AM they moved her to another room, she was out of danger fortunality. i stayed with her till 7AM, went home for a little sleep, been visit her this afternoon, i'm just home from the hospital, she reacts normal, all is ok with memory, tomorrow the results are there, possible a epileptic attack.
I'm always blablabla about women, and sexy shit, but fricken hey, i thought i lost the love of my life, writing this with tears in my eyes, i hope she will be soon home. It was really terrifying.

OMG Dutchy I feel so sorry for you.
I hope all the results come back ok.
At least things seem to be fine now.
I remember watching my son when he was only 2 having febrile convulsions for the first time - it was sooo frightening - then again lately collapsing after suffering from anaphylatic shock - you just feel so helpless!! All your common sense just goes out the window when its your own flesh and blood.
Everything is crossed for you and your wife. Hope she makes a full and speedy recovery - please keep us posted xxx

Aww Dutchy, I bet you were scared, and poor Mrs Dutchy, thank heavens you got her to hospital. She's being taken care of, and you must take care of yourself. Get a good night's sleep, she's going to need you to be strong.
Hopefully the docs will soon figure out exactly what's wrong and she'll be fine in no time

Thank you Carolanne, i'm having a relax moment right now, first in 48 hours, just sitting without thoughts, having a smoke and soda water, but still in a way of shock

Bad weekend
Sorry to hear you had to go through that, how scary ...but how very good you were there and got her into hospital.
Glad to hear she is better...and you have a diagnosis
Thinking of you both

These kind of things are making you realise you're getting older, and the people close to you too.
