Very true ...but dreaming it makes it feel real ...and so that might cause you to hope and aspire cause you want that feeling again? Some dreams are so unrealistic that you wake up laughing ...and the picture keeps making you smile.... Some people don't remember their dreams.... but maybe they remain in their subconscious... then just feel happy without knowing why ... |

Just to bring it all crashing back to earth.
I read a wonderful analysis of dream a while ago. According to professor clever-clogs, or whatever his name was. Dreams are like exhaust fumes. They are the by-product of the brain still performing all kinds of functions, even when your asleep. What happens is, we get a whiff of these fumes now and then. It's totally random, like snapshots rather than movies. When we've built up a few random images, we create a narrative. Like joining the dots. For example. I recently had a dream where Terry Thomas (old British comedian) was found living in an old pub I used to know, except it wasn't a pub it was an Edwardian house. And the press turned up to take photographs and it was all over the newspapers. Funny thing was, it was actually Peter o tool that was in the wheelchair !!!! Work that fir out !!!! |
