is there anyway i can stop recving an email notification every time some replies to a post i have replied to???

Sure!
Go to User CP (top left of screen)
Go to Edit Options
Scroll down to Messaging & Notification
Click on Default thread subscription mode and choose "no email notification" from drop down menu
Then Save Changes at bottom of thread.
