I went to the polling station earlier today, looking for a left-leaning candidate to vote for.
My choice was:
'New' Labour.
Conservative.
Lib-Dems.
UKIP.
BNP.

I turned around and walked straight back out without voting.

The only election poster up in this street is one over the road for the green party. I know that wasn't the question but anyhow......

We had an Independent who's a mate of mine - eeeeezy!

The Socialist Labour Party were standing here and next door, Jim. They're the party Arthur Scargill started up and have a bit of a presence round these parts - sounds more like your cuppa.

Right, I'm for tea, bath and a snooze. Working after hours for the paper tonight covering the count. We're told the result should be in by three a.m., then we're going back in to work at the office with colleagues from elsewhere to get the coverage battered out. Should be in me bed by noon. Jeez.

Anyway, hope yez all vote and keep out that Jam/Smiths-loving Tory. Johann Harri's coverage in the Independent yesterday on what could be in store from Dave was magnificent and should have been published everywhere. I'll stay in the frying-pan if you don't mind.

Monster raving loonie party wants to turn London into a theme park, that gets a win in my book.

Anyway, if I could vote, I know who'd I'd vote for, it's not the monster raving loonies
