Voted ages ago on this, but forgot to say so. The original rules for me too, and seemingly by a huge majority of pollsters on here. I've seen some of the new one, and although the original had its sinister moments it wasn't half as dark and creepy as the remake.

Definitely the original.....the new one isn't bad, but after watching the original, Johnny Depp is a little too freaky to play the leading role in this kids movie!
