Default A very important message from UB40
Hello all

Can I please remind people that copying posts from other boards- namely Ali Campbell's, serves no purpose other than bringing his negativity over here.

We enjoy a very high traffic of people visiting our website, and to bring up stuff posted over there only publicizes possible slander and lies.

Let the other side whip themselves into a frenzy- we shall be carrying on as normal, and anyone who wants to read what Ali Campbell's admin, or his fans, are saying, can go over there and read them!

We are of the opinion that private letters sent between UB40 and Ali Campbell via solicitors, should remain the band's business, and have no place on this- or any other- forum.

That is all!

why people are even goin over there to read it is beyond me unless they WANT to cause trouble!!

When i read topics COPY & PASTED from over there it makes me crrrringgeee!!! Why bother??

Anyway the past is history!!! Why cant a few people get over that!!

I'm with you Fraulien Lockitt.
It's extremely UNPROFESSIONAL to try and influence opinion while legal proceedings are on-going. Let's see what the conclusions are before we start trying to fight 'legal' battles via our websites.

If they want to give a reason for the gig cancellation, well what about 'circumstances beyond our control'? It seemed to work perfectly well for the British tour' that didn't happen. Why all that tortuous detail ??

Wooooooo........am soooooo looking forward to hearing all the new choons tonight at the MEN especially as I already know a couple of them from younger days !! (oh I'm getting soooo old )

Agreed. Not bringing things over or even referring to them is fine by me. I've not even sneaked a peek over there in a long time, neither do I feel the need. Their timing in hoping for another round of mudslinging is impeccable as usual
