Manchedster gig 5/11/2009

Id like to say first what a amazing gig from UB40 last night!
Sorry if its abit short ...Still tired!

Me and Gina met up with UBloonies, Joolz, Natasha and partner, Morgs, Mia and Hubby( sorry if i left anyone out) had a few drinks then we all headed the M.E.N arena! , Plus met more loonies later Josie, EIse,Vicky, Malc, Jen , Sparkler,Loz & Hubby,



Loved the standing area,.. Eddie Grant was wonderful live on stage!

UB time....This was my 2nd time seeing UB40 frontman Duncan singing live......... excellent!!!!

I enjoyed every minute of UB40 preformance last night old and new songs really outstanding !


UB you are all so welcoming people and thank-you for taking time to have a chat with us all,

looking forward see you all next yr!! Serita x x

IM sorry to say, i didnty enjoy it half as much as last time i went when ali was lead, that time the wailers was special guest.

your right eddie grant was great but, the tempos been changed for half the songs, it just wasnt the same.

picked up towards to end, and still an entertaining night, but i wont be paying to go watch them now its listening on cds.

i watched the crowd trying to get with it last night, yes they did on some songs but the excitment just wasnt held, the last time i went when ali sang, there was hardly anybody walking around and you rocked from begining to end and felt like you didnt want it to end.

this time, ther was far too many people mulling about, half the seats wernt full.

im sorry to say it just wasnt as good, as when ali was front man.
back to listening on cds for me im afraid no more concerts

Fair enough....................But i loved every min of th UB40 Concert last night..anyone else agree with me !!
