And i forgot to mention the huge influence Indian/Bhangra music has had on the UK, not intentional of course...we are so lucky to have such cultural diversity over here, its had a profound effect on the tastes and inspiration we all take for granted in Britain and I think is one of the reasons we have such an eclectic music scene......

Most definitely....growing up in a city like Bradford, I was lucky to hear music from Indian film and Bhangra stuff in my neighbourhood .....always thought it had incredible rhythms, probably the nearest thing to reggae I'd heard.

I was interested to read that they had rehearsed with the great singer Asha Bhosle but never actually performed the song on a gig. Does anyone know the song/s?
I'm not sure, but I did read somewhere that apparently Asha Bhosle has recorded more songs than Lata mangeshkar?

Yes, its true Asha Bhosle was going to perform with us in Mumbai and to a televison audience of 1 billion people....It was 'keep on moving' Asha rehearsed with us..BUT on the night an elephant got frightened by something and went nuts in the street, it created a huge traffic jam, knocking over street stalls and sending people running for their lives...the traffic backed up so far that Asha's car couldn't get anywhere near to the gig, she eventually arrived as we were leaving the stage and the next act was already on and performing...A great shame as we are all BIG fans...
