Something really needs to be done about this now as it's verging on ridiculous. I know the legal channels take ages and ages, but in the meantime he's using UB40s name as a cashcow. He's going to ruin their reputation at this rate. It's just not fair on them. To be fair it will be the promotors who are responsible for it, but someone must have mentioned the name UB40 to them. It's not like they've just picked up an out of date picture like in the case of some of Ub40s promotion. If ali did the right thing and sold himself just as himself with no mention of UB40 then this wouldn't be happening. But then i guess if he did that then no-one would want to know. It's just a sad sad situation.

Just had a quick look at the website of The Virgin Islands Daily News.Couldn't see anything about the gig but there was a headline about counterfeit $20 notes circulating on the islands.Little do they know that they'll soon have another counterfeiting problem on their hands.
