Their only consolation is that the US Virgin Islands are beautiful!

I know you say that their flights and hotels are non-refundable but it may be worth suggesting to them to call to airline and try and re-schedule the flights to California for the REAL UB40 dates in Sept. They may even be able to switch hotels if they are part of a large chain???? worth a go!

I hate to see good people ripped off like that...it makes me sick. I can just imagine that these friends of yours have all rallied round, booked time of work, got all excited about catching up with you and all of a sudden their dream holiday comes crashing down!!!...GUTTED!

At the risk of repeating myself (which I often do at my age ), the words 'Trading Standards', 'Misrepresentation' and 'False Advertising spring to mind yet again. If your friends have parted with their hard earned cash on the strength that they would be seeing UB40 in the Virgin Islands then surely thay would have a case for compensation against the promoters of Ali's show for misleading them with the facts

When ever UB40 are mentioned in his adverts it all comes from him and his 2nd rate manager Kim Revie, the promoters have told us its in his contract and MUST PRINT IT AS 'ALI CAMPBELLS UB40' complete amateurs, total charletons, he has applied for copyright to ALI CAMPBELLS UB40...we obviously didnt copyright that title..who would have guessed after a lifetime that one of your brothers/mates would try sell you out..THEN STEAL YOUR NAME..looks like he and his entourage are getting exactly what they deserve...empty gigs & a reputation for being scum too funny.......We have to sue him to stop him...what a dirty 4kin rotter...if it wasn't actually happening I would never have believed it.The promoter in Southhampton (last weeks gig) even had phone calls saying UB40 were cancelling ? Not unlike the time before in Bournmouth BIC 2009 when the police were called 'ANONYMOUSLY' reporting that UB40 were smoking drugs backstage...I wonder who did that ?
