Yes I see that the only way forward for the legendary voice is the Butlins circuit after this, I didnt believe it myself about the UB40 name being used until I was flicking through a magazine and saw an ad for the Guilfest where it quite clearly said "Ali Campbells UB40".
Theres no way back for him now, hes burnt all the bridges with his old friends and his family all over money, sad man and it looks like hes getting what he deserves.
This reminds me of that program on Bucks Fizz I saw afew years ago where that David Van Day from Dollar joined the line up and then took over the band, he even went and re recorded the all the albums cheaply and stole the artwork so that he could make some easy cash.
The saving grace I think for the "proper" UB40 is that one by one promoters are going to wash their hands of him if all his gigs so far have lost money, he'll be back at the Hare and hounds playing to a crowd of 10 who have paid £3 for the entrance in no time at all.
Still enjoy the splendour of the shopping mall circuit whilst you can Ali, it was such a brilliantly calculated move of yours from going from an Arena selling out band to playing foreign versions of Selfridges, that has to be one of the greatest business decisions ever in history, Gerald Ratner would be proud of you.

I have heard that Pigsy...BUT you know too well, we dont need to do that and we would never try to trick the public, altho the difference is we are actually UB40,occasionally a stupid promoter gets who ever looks after his/her website to put up film of UB40....if you dont know whats gone down then mistakes can happen, I cant imagine some guy in Portugal who isnt vaguely interested in UB40 would be aware of what happened..afterall its no big deal really...BUT I know that Revie and Campbell use our name to fool people into buying tickets..its so scummy and amoral....what a showers of low down desperate bullshitters.
