Yes, but there are a lot of mistakes too.

A good starting place for anyone first starting out must agree. Sometimes there is several generations to be found from one link.

Kelly that's a common name here, we've got hevens pronounced evens complete zilch on that and the other one's Larkin we know he was born in Ireland and come over as a baby.

Heve a holiday in Ireland lol

Burnley Lancashire, she'd have moved for a man or a better way of life ask your mum she should know.

Wern't alot of people encouraged to move thoughout England using the Canal system from Farming area's in the South to to the Mill Towns in Lancashire for a better way of life, that's the opposite though to you.

Fi that's one place i wouldn't have thought of trying.


Jen have you tried the friends unite site, the gene's one, we got back further in that than the offical sites.

been a long time since I had a holiday in Ireland. Might get over there next year, do a bit of research.

We've got a Thomas William...think he was welsh, so I've covered all 4 countries of Britain and Ireland, lol.

Turned out here mum visited her sister and Grandmother just before giving birth, then came back to Norfolk to be with her other kids.
But I had to work that out through birth and marriage certificates and on line census filled in the gaps. A few fathers missing on birth certificates along the way didn't help, lol

Why did you think i never gave my Welsh surname's up. my mums Thomas and one of her uncle's married aunty so & so from the Rhonda Valley or sumit like that.
