U.S. Visa Issues?

I was just curious if the band had any problems with getting visas for the upcoming US tour? I know Astro has had some issues in the past. The Specials just had to cancel their U.S. tour because of some visa issues with a band member. Hope we get to see Astro this time around!

I heard that that the US immigration service held a meeting to decide whether or not to let the boys in.Apparently they asked the British police for a file of all UB40 related ganja busts but couldn't look at it because the elevator wasn't working in their building.lol

fingers crossed he will be there. i don't think they can apply for their visas till just before they go so it's usually the 11th hour before they find out whether they're all going or not.

Greetings Comrades..Cheers H...the way it works is you cant apply for a work visa unless you have been booked to perform..therein lies the problem because if you don't get the work visa then you have problems as the shows have been booked...a lot of things have changed since 911..we are applying for visas now, we dont expect any problems as it was OK last time BUT we cant be 100% sure untill we have been to the embassy and queued for hours for our interviews, we are not the only casualties of the US visa clampdown...i hear of lots of musicians being denied entry all the time...
