I dont make resolutions as it infers I am not perfect already, which of couse like many Loonies I am. However I do think up something nice I would like to do or achieve, only you have a year to do it so its gets done. One year it was learn Agility with my Border Collie, another was walk to a waterfall in England etc. Still need some inspiration for this year tho apart from change my kitchen cupboard doors ' Yawn'.

Find out how to make all Fonts bigger
Get another guitar but play this one regularly (acoustic bass)
Get the money to buy another guitar
Bring together my son and his musical mates to jam....sounds easy but you try it.
That's it.

How did I miss this one?

Well, every year I choose to make some and every year about 2-5ish days in I have been discouraged and just scratch the whole of it. I love Anant's statement and admire the ability to make a change instantaneously. That has never been a strong trait of mine.

Of course, this year I made the usual. Exercise, sleep more, less beer, healthier habits, more patience and quality time with kids...etc and, in following the usual suit, a few days in I've not accomplished what I've wanted and now 2+ weeks in to, I am feeling the failure.... Oh well, at least I am happy as a clam most days and have many blessings in life.

On another note, last year, I WROTE my resolution on paper (there were several) and found it on my treadmill with a 1/2" of dust on BOTH...

I just need to be the best I can be every day and hope for conviction and growth!
