Default The UBs should cover this song...

Back in 1994 Billy Ze Kick et les gamins en folie had a hit in France with "Mangez moi." I discovered this song purely by chance when the local cable TV company (now part of Virgin Media) broadcasted MCM (the French equivalent of MTV) and they were playing the video to death. Here is the official music video for the song:
Billy ze Kick et les gamins en folie "mangez-moi" - YouTube

I came across this live performance of the song.
BILLY ZE KICK Mangez moi @ Nulle Part Ailleurs 1994 - YouTube
It was introduced by Antoine de Caunes (he of "Rapido" fame. Does anybody remember him?) and there's a bit at the end of this clip sounded like it would if the UBs covered the song. It will make sense once you've seen the video. Sorry about the links. I can't remember how to embed YouTube vids.

What do you lot reckon?

I've remembered how to do it now! The group is introduced by Antoine de Caunes and after the performance the group's vocalist (Nathalie Cousin) is interviewed and then the resident band play an extract from the song which is how I'd imagine what it would sound like if UB40 covered it. It starts at 5.38 in the clip.

From what I can gather the song is about magic mushrooms and their effects.
