Default UB40 Christmas Album
Won't you consider it? I'd love nothing more than to plop in a UB Holiday Seasons Greetings album from Oct thru Jan album....

You go girl!!!!! I'm pretty sure it's coming this year. Carole King did an Xmas (OK if I call it that?) album and apparently has a top 10 in the USA.

Someone mentioned they might do one a couple of years ago but it never came about. It's certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but I would enjoy a UB Christmas!

I think it would be a bad idea personally, I think after the critical reevaluation of the signing off re release and subsequent tour, I have noticed UB40 are getting more respect in the press. A press that has long since dismissed them as a covers band. So personally Id love to see the band keep building on that new found respect and go forth with (from the very tiny snippets weve heard in the background on UBTV) with what sounds like a brilliant new album.


I think Xmas albums are usually a bad sign in a persons career, artsist only seem to release them if they are at a creative nadir (Bob Dylan) or after a quick buck (Justin Bieber). Both things I dont UB40 are at this stage in their careers (bankrupticies aside, hey I might be joining them on that one soon), weve got a proper album to look forward to with Duncan truly being able to step into his own skin and show us what he can do.
