I recently built an extension onto the back of my house which allowed me to set up my old turntable and dig out my UB40 LPs. This sent me on a trip down memory lane to my school days in the mid 80s and a conversation I had with my class mate. He was the son of the school caretaker and claimed he had been given UB40 records and promo stuff when the band filmed a video in the school during the summer holidays - Addey & Stanhope in Newcross, S.E. London. Allegedly the school was chosen as Faith Isiakpere was a previous pupil. Please forgive my ignorance but can anyone put any meat on the bones of this story, correct any inaccuracies and inform me of the connection between Faith and the band? This has been nagging away in the back of my mind for decades!

Faith took all the photographs in the Portraits book that was on sale on the Geffery Morgan tour in 1984.That's all I know about the connection.Got a feeling this might be the video you're referring to.

This is indeed my old school - and to think the caretakers son was my best pal and I often went to play in the school in the summer hols and he never told me about this until afterwards! Unforgivable!!!!!!!!
