Hello again,

I did write a very nice message earlier about how much I appreciate all your warm welcomes, but it seems to have got lost somewhere along the way to the forum

So..if at first you don't succeed and all that, I shall try again.

As I wrote earlier, the gig in Copenhagen the other day was my first ever concert with 'the Ubes' as they are in my house. I have found out by living with a Brummie (an old moseley-ite) for the last 10 years that they like to abbreviate things so they get as short as possible, so "Ubes" it is

The concert hall was absolutely packed and it got rather warm in there, which is how it's supposed to be really.
I thought everyone did an excellent job, and having now found out that Duncan must have been in tremendous pain, I must say that I for one didn't notice it in his singing ability. All the best and a speedy recovery to you Duncan.
I guess the rest of you have been to their shows many times?

I was quite surprised with suddenly hearing one of my favourite songs at the show. Blue eyes crying in the rain, an old Willie Nelson track, one of my favourite songs and now in a reggae-reggae version

What can be better than that?

Anyhoo, enough nattering for now.

Thanks for your impressions from the concert; I have read so many of them here that I almost feel I've been there myself.

As you asked-no, I guess I'm a minority here, I have never seen UBs live, which is no wonder living in a place I live, etc. etc., but I hope to see them on this tour somewhere, if lucky, in Croatia, if not, somewhere around... but I've seen them on several recorded concerts and I know they are great. I've been listening to their music for about 30 years and it's high time we find ourselves in the same town, in the same place...
