Hi, how is everyone doing?

Been reading up on the recent goings on. Duncan's accident sounds like quite an ordeal, but it sounds like he's soldiering on. Hope he recovers and bounces back asap! He should have at least waited a few years before doing this, then I'd be treating him.

Having browsed youtube, it seems the European tour is going brilliantly. Just listened to the new track. As you probably know, I don't beat around the bush and I'm brutally honest. My first thought, was 'FFS! It's a cover.' Then I listened to it. It sounds amazing, my thought was then 'Cool, it's a nice sounding cover'

Still, the key to life is balance. If this track is the kind of sound that UB40 is creating at the moment, then I anticipate the new album could be the best one since WYFF. That is of course, if the principles of balance have been adhered to: that the covers are contrasted with many originals, and the sweet sounding songs balance the equilibrium of the angry political tracks.

I have no doubt that the band has done so, and after hearing Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain, I wait here in anticipation of what should be a truly sick album.

Like I said Dutchy, it's all cool as long as it's in good balance, which I have no doubt that it is. By balance, I'd personally prefer only 1 or 2 covers, and the rest originals, mainly angry political tracks.
