IT WAS FREEZING....but the huddle just got larger saw Michele - who said "what took u two long" Sarah NUB40 , Karen, , Jaye, Josie , Eloise, posimau, unbnormie,.sprakler , nods, hickpaul, Chicago Mike...and many more.....everyone eyeing those they didn't know ...challengingly...the doors finally opened and we were carried off in the crowd
....

Great tunes Mr DJ ...Of course yakked away to all around ...while everyone marked their territory...different stories ...all die hard fans ....

Then THEY came on and ..you just get that feeling ...that you have to pinch yourself ...that they are really in front of you ...that you are alive....

See, people are different ...I love the old tunes ...they move me...
I was positioned strategically in front of JB this time ...was quite a treat as he is usually buried ...but as we were so close to the stage which is so high ... twas a revelation ....not only is there an orange cookie monster growing out his drum ....but ..seriously....the man WORKS !!!!

Duncan was spot on ...I would never have guessed the pain he was in ...loved it all ...loved the new tune ...softly softly it tickles the ear...but let us not digress...

Brian was looking very dapper in a black velvet waistcoat..Laurence was looking very svelt and Pikey was posing as always.......but enough of the HELLO magazine ...those three are just bloody Fantastic together...I just cannot get enough of that trio....simply brilliant music ..mesmerising to watch ...heart pumpingly amazing

Tony with the moves ...you have to catch him....he is great ..you get these moments of him looking like he is in a room dancing and there is no one else there ..he is going to take off w ith his keyboard in a bubble...

Robin's dreamy lilt, Norman 's independently zapped legs, Astro's toasting, Earl's melody surfing ..all makes for big party ..I just got the feeling , they outdid themselvs here

Old songs ...new songs ...Madame Medusa , The things you do, Dance until the morning light. Cream puff.....Blue eyes...all just slid out and before you cold say " LUUUUUUUUURRRVE U" ....it was over...
Not boasting ...but for the first time....(feeling very important). ..got to meet some UBs ..and two stunning charming mrs 's

..and here is my impression

.... they are all handsomer (if that is possible), the nearer you are...

Norman.. ....if there is a next time ...as I did not see you this time ...I promise not to dive for your legs to dismantle the electric supply to them
also....a more charming witty set of gentlemen would be difficult to come by ....even the supreme leader.. ..it is all over ..starstruck....but that lovely warm feeling is still here....

we had watched videos in the Paradiso for months so it was a dream....and to have the absolute delight of actually meeting UB40 ...well what can I say??? Still trying to wipe silly grin off ...to no avail....

RBC (What a total charmer...thank you) and Duncan too ...well Duncan did forget the pain momentarily when Heather and him discussed the Campbell/Mcdonald ehm..battles ( I just kind of withered into the sofa at that point)...


All I can say is ...we were very very lucky

Sadly ...I was so excited ...I took no photos with UB40......only one outside where I jumped on BT nearly flattening him...near a bus ....

This particular situation will not recur next time I will tie my camera to my forehead and have a wee machine like the weather girls so it will just take a pic everytime I get excited

I will post some of our pre- gig ones...just to prove I can use a camera....
